Summary: The objective of the AERO SKILLS tournament is to provide a competitive venue where aviation maintenance technicians may display and advance their skills, their own technician network, maybe win some cash and above all have fun.

Details: The AERO SKILLS tournaments have two Skill Level Classifications:
• Junior Technicians – Technicians who have completed their training and have been working in their trade in the industry for no more than one year and those currently enrolled at a trade school.
Junior tradesman (students) may get all of the help they need from faculty however, no one else may touch their project or the tools to work on their project.
• Senior Technicians – Technicians that have more than one year of work experience in the aircraft maintenance or manufacturing industry.
Senior technicians are expected to fabricate and build their parts independently without assistance from peers or supervisors.
